What is a listing-to-video tool?
Listing-to-video is software that takes a published car listing — the photos, the price, the mileage, the details — and produces a finished video ad from it with no filming and no manual editing. It differs from a plain image-to-video model by also choosing the shots, ordering the story, setting the numbers in type and adding music and branding.
Definition
A listing-to-video tool reads a car listing and makes the video ad. The input is a link, or the photos plus one line of details. The output is an MP4 sized for social feeds, with the dealer’s branding on it.
What it does that image-to-video alone does not
An image-to-video model animates one photo. A listing-to-video tool does the whole job around it:
- picks the strongest photos and puts them in story order — the car, the headline number, the mileage, the standout option, the price;
- generates a bounded camera move from each photo, so the car stays true;
- reads the price, mileage and power from the listing and sets them in type;
- cuts to a track on the beat;
- adds the dealer’s logo, colour and card;
- exports 9:16, 4:5 and 16:9.
What to check in one
- Are the numbers read from the listing, or typed by a model? Typed numbers drift.
- How far does the camera move? Wide moves invent parts of the car. A few degrees of azimuth and elevation is safe.
- Does it alter the photos? Beyond cropping a dealer frame, it should not.
- Is the price per car or per month? Inventory-based pricing matches how a lot works.
VroomVideo is a listing-to-video tool: $9 per car, about three minutes, link paste for most dealer websites and marketplaces, a VIN for AutoTrader, Cars.com, CarGurus and KBB, and upload for the rest.
